    A classic SSL mixing desk console from the era was used to capture the exact sound of this particular phase of rock music. The video offers a reminder to the dangers of head banging and fashions from this decade of musical extravagance and indulgence.

    Watch this video of Audio Network composer Debbie Wiseman and Director Jack Jewers recording the score for the movie ‘Shalom Kabul’ at the world famous Angel Studios with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

    Debbie Wiseman is one of the UK’s most prolific film and television composers, with a list of over 200 film & TV credits. Her album of music to accompany the Fairy Tale stories of Oscar Wilde was nominated for a Grammy Award and was then made into a trilogy of animated films – Wilde Stories – for Channel 4. In 2004, Debbie was honoured in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list with an M.B.E. for services to the music and film industry.

    Terry Devine-King is a leading composer in the television world. As a keyboardist with groups ranging from The Cutting Crew to The Style Council, he is also an experienced performer and player. He has written hundreds of tracks for Audio Network and has worked on many projects with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

    Audio Network composer Barrie Gledden talks about the process behind Music Production, and the relationship between Music and Image.

    Always having had an interest in the recording & producing process, Barrie found himself increasingly behind the desk recording & mixing for Kaiser Chiefs, Corinne Bailey Rae & the wonderful Timmy Mallett in the studio as well as in front of it. He has now composed exclusively for Audio Network for 12 years and as of May 2013 has recorded over 1100 tracks.

    We interviewed Paul Mottram during a recent orchestral recording for Audio Network at the world famous Abbey Road Studios.

    Paul is an experienced classical and jazz composer and has worked extensively in film and TV. His compositional credits include features on the BBC and numerous television commercials such as Pizza Hut, JVC, Sure, Greene King and Rover. Paul’s music was widely featured on the BBC and the Mall during the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton and during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

    At a recent recording at Abbey Road Studios we caught up with Audio Network composer Ray Davies about recording at the world famous studios for the last 50 years.

    Ray Davies is one of Britain’s foremost musicians. He has won many prestigious awards, including several Grand Prix for composition and recently the BASCA Gold Badge Award. His singles have been placed in the charts in Britain and Japan, where his albums have also had considerable success. Ray has currently got 53 tracks in the Audio Network catalogue.
